A Empobor foi constituída em 1972, tendo como objectivo a produção de pasta de borracha e como únicos clientes as três fábricas de recauchutagem pertencentes aos três grupos de sócios fundadores.
Consegue-se desta forma contornar o monopólio de preços imposto pela lei de condicionamento industrial vigente na época. Resultado de dois processos de aquisição de quotas, dos três grupos fundadores resta um que detém a totalidade do capital da Empresa.
Em 1981, a alteração da tecnologia da indústria de recauchutagem, originou o aparecimento de uma nova empresa, a Borvul, participante e participada da Empobor, destinada a produção de piso pré-vulcanizado.
A certificação ISO 9000 obtida em 1994, revelou-se como factor importante para a conquista do mercado externo que tem servido de motor do desenvolvimento da Empresa.
A Empobor, conclui em 2003 um processo de reestruturação da sala de mistura, que tem por objectivo a contínua adaptação às necessidades dos seus clientes. |

Empobor has been built in 1972. Its objective was to produce rubber for retreading and worked only with retreading societes belong to three groups of the founders partners.

The certification ISO 9000 obtained in 1994 revealed to be an important factor to the acquisition of the extern market which has been useful at the expansion driving of the society.
In 2003, Empobor has finished a new structure of the mixing room. The objective is the continual adaptation to the needs of our clients. |
